At A2 level, we often use the present continuous to talk about future arrangements.
Form:
am / is / are + verb + ing
Examples:
I’m meeting my friend tomorrow.
She’s having lunch with Anna on Friday.
We’re going to the cinema tonight.
We use this form when the plan is already arranged.
4. Short Conversation
Emma: Are you free on Saturday afternoon?
Noah: Yes, I am. Why?
Emma: Would you like to go for coffee?
Noah: Sure, I’d love to.
Emma: Great. What time shall we meet?
Noah: How about meeting at four?
Emma: That sounds good. Let’s meet at the café near the station.
5. Language Note
Would you like to…? is more polite than Do you want to…?
How about…? is useful for suggesting a time or activity.
When you cannot accept an invitation, it is better to give a polite reason and suggest another time if possible.
